ÇADER’in desteğiyle 10 Nisan 2025 tarihinde 19 Mayıs Türk Maarif Koleji “9E” sınıfı öğrencileriyle bir orman temizliği etkinliği ve Girne İtfaiyesi iş birliğiyle yangın önleme eğitimi gerçekleştirildi.
Etkinlik kapsamında öğrenciler, ormanlık alanda gerçekleştirilen temizlik çalışmasına katılarak doğada bırakılan atıkları topladı ve doğal alanların korunmasının önemini uygulamalı olarak deneyimledi. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise Girne İtfaiyesi uzmanları öğrencilere yangınların nasıl önlenebileceği, hangi davranışların yangın riskini artırdığı ve acil durumlarda nasıl hareket edilmesi gerektiği konusunda bilgilendirme yaptı.
Bu etkinlik sayesinde öğrenciler hem çevre koruma konusunda aktif bir rol üstlendi hem de yangın riskleri ve güvenli davranışlar hakkında önemli bilgiler edindi. Çevre bilinci ile toplum güvenliğini bir araya getiren bu çalışma, öğrenciler için hem öğretici hem de anlamlı bir deneyim oldu.

Forest Clean-Up and Fire Prevention Training – 19 Mayıs Turkish Maarif College – 10 April 2025
On 10 April 2025, a forest clean-up activity and fire prevention training session were organized with students from 19 Mayıs Turkish Maarif College “9E” class, with the support of ÇADER and in collaboration with the Kyrenia Fire Brigade.
During the activity, students participated in a forest clean-up by collecting waste left in natural areas, gaining a hands-on understanding of the importance of protecting natural environments. In the second part of the event, experts from the Kyrenia Fire Brigade informed students about how forest fires can be prevented, which behaviors increase fire risk, and how to respond safely in emergency situations.
Through this activity, students actively contributed to environmental protection while also gaining important knowledge about fire safety and risk awareness. The event provided a valuable learning experience that combined environmental responsibility with community safety.
